Weekly Mowing & Trimming
GreenMowing cuts grass areas in the front, back, and sides of every yard with a 20 inch mulching electric mower. (Grass or weeds growing inside of beds will not be cut.) A line trimmer is used around beds, fences, and trees. Please protect your trees with a plastic tree guard, to avoid any damage during string trimming. All curbs, driveways, and sidewalks in the front yard are also trimmed. When all the work is finished, GreenMowing is sure to blow clippings from sidewalks, driveways and patio giving your property that manicured look.
GreenMowing provides innovative lawn care utilizing solar panels, cordless electric mowers, trimmers, edgers and blowers.
GreenMowing vehicles and lawn mowing equipment are quiet, clean, and green producing zero emissions.
Cutting Height
We don't cut your grass too short. Short grass reduces it's vigour, requires more watering, promotes weed growth and disease, plus it undermines root development. The ideal cutting height is 2.5 inches. If your preference is shorter please let us know.
Mulched Clippings
Your grass clippings are recycled back into your lawn. This provides additional nutrients to your turf that keeps your grass greener as they reabsorbed into the lawn. For those who do not like small grass clippings on their lawn, we offer an option of collecting the grass clippings, for a small additional fee of $5. If you choose this option the GreenMowing crew will collect the grass clippings and place in your green bin for your disposal.
Lot Size & Boulevards
GreenMowing lawn mowing rates are based on the lot size of the property to be serviced. Boulevards that need to be maintained by the home owner will be included when determining the overall lot size.
Mow Day & Time
GreenMowing crews mow Monday thru Friday and are in a designated neighbourhood each day of the week, so you will be assigned a specific mow day. Although we assign a specific mowing day, the time of day your lawn is mowed may vary from week to week. Our crews sometimes work until 7 PM, so don't worry if your lawn is not mowed by 5 PM.
2013 Mowing Season
GreenMowing lawn mowing season begins the week of March 4, 2013 and ends on the week of October 28, 2013. If you wish to delay your season start date or end your season early, please notify us at www.littlegreenmowing.com/manage/
Holidays
On weeks when a national holiday falls Monday thru Friday, we will adjust the rest of the week's schedule by one day so that we will service all remaining lawns the day after they were scheduled to be mowed- Using Saturday for Friday customers.
Skipping A Week of Mowing
You are allowed to skip a week of mowing if your lawn has not grown. Please note that our crews do not make the decision whether or not your lawn needs mowing, so you will need to notify us to skip a scheduled mowing. However, if the lawn is skipped and the next scheduled mowing requires additional time, GreenMowing reserves the right to charge an additional service fee comparable to our every 2 week rates. In order for a requested skip to take affect, you must notify us at www.littlegreenmowing.com/manage/ by 5pm the day before mowing and Friday by 5pm to skip a Monday mowing. Service will be resumed the following week automatically.

You are guaranteed satisfaction with your mowing service. As a customer, if you ever feel that your mowing is not satisfactory, please notify us at www.littlegreenmowing.com/manage/ or call us at 1-855-425-6694 and we will come back as quickly as possible to re-perform the service to your liking. If you are still unsatisfied, it's free.
Cancellations
You may cancel your service with us anytime you wish, for any reason, without a cancellation fee. Please understand though, that if you do not cancel your service, we will return to your house from week to week throughout the season and from season to season. If you wish to cancel, you must notify us at www.littlegreenmowing.com/manage/. Cancellations must be submitted by 5pm PST the day before your mowing and Friday by 5pm PST for Monday visits.
Gates and Pets
Please keep your pets indoors and unlock all gates on your mow day. If we arrive to your property and cannot mow the back yard due to a pet in the yard or a locked gate, you will still be charged. Our crews are very careful about closing gates before they leave, but we do not guarantee that a pet will not escape from the yard. Therefore, you accept our service with this provision. GreenMowing is not responsible for lost or injured pets.
Items in the Yard
Please do not leave animal waste in the yard! Toys, hoses, pots, tents, bikes, skateboards and an assortment of other items are often left in the grass, assuming we will move them. We are there to mow and trim, so please have your yard clean. Large items such as trampolines will not be moved, but will be mowed around.
Trees
We strongly recommend you protect your trees with tree guards to ensure their longevity, since we can not guarantee your trees will not be damaged. GreenMowing is not responsible for damaged trees.
Watering
Please do not water your lawn on your mow day. Wet grass will cause clumping. It is recommended to water your lawn once per week during the dry season to a depth of 1" (this should take approx. 1 hour of watering). Please know that watering deeply and infrequently promotes strong healthy root growth.
Rain
We always try to finish our routes, even on rainy days. If, however, we are washed out due to heavy rain all day, we will adjust the rest of the week's schedule by one day so that we will service all remaining lawns the day after they were supposed to be mowed. Saturday is the "make-up" day for schedules that are delayed due to rain. Some customers will choose to skip a mowing if their grass is wet. Skipped mows are not rescheduled. To avoid excessively long grass, we recommend that our customers allow us to mow even when the lawn is wet.
Payment
Payment for your service is conveniently invoiced to your email each week the day after your lawn is mowed. Please submit payment with out delay via the secure EasyPayDirect link with your credit card details. Service will be suspended if payment is not received prior to the day before your next scheduled mowing. For added convenience and a $5.00 discount per mow, consider purchasing a PREPAY 10 PACK. Printed account activity is available upon request.
Renewal of Service
GreenMowing service is scheduled weekly throughout the season and automatically renews from season to season until you cancel. If you wish to cancel, you must notify us at www.littlegreenmowing.com/manage/.
